Question 1

Which BearTech GPS tracker is best for a truck or commercial vehicle?

Accepted Answer

For trucks running long routes, BT600 or BT800 is recommended because both come with a 100% replacement guarantee and better accuracy than the entry models. BT800 uses 4G/5G with a Jio SIM and gives the tightest accuracy (10-15m), which matters on highways with patchy signal pockets. BT600 is a solid middle option at ₹3,800 with 2G+3G auto-switching and a 2-year replacement cover.

Question 2

Bike ya two-wheeler ke liye GPS available hai kya?

Accepted Answer

Haan, wired models (BT400, BT500, BT600, BT800) bike pe bhi lagte hain kyunki inko sirf wiring chahiye, car ka OBD port nahi. OBD tracker bike pe nahi chalega, wo sirf car ke liye hai. BT900 magnetic aur wireless hai, wo bhi bike frame pe bina wiring ke laga sakte hain.

Question 3

I don't want any wiring done in my car — is there a plug-and-play GPS option?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the OBD tracker plugs directly into your car's OBD port with no wiring at all, priced at ₹4,000. It gives 25-30m accuracy, which is fine for general tracking but not as tight as the wired BT800.

Question 4

Heavy machinery ya equipment jisme normal vehicle battery connection nahi hai, usme GPS lag sakta hai kya?

Accepted Answer

Isi ke liye BT900 bana hai — magnetic wireless tracker hai jisme apni 10,000mAh battery hai, karib 25 din ka backup deti hai, wiring ya vehicle power ki zarurat nahi. Bas machinery pe chipka do aur location aana shuru ho jayega.

Question 5

Which tracker do schools usually install on their buses?

Accepted Answer

Schools typically go with BT600 or BT800 because both carry a 100% replacement guarantee, which matters for a vehicle carrying children where uptime is non-negotiable. Combined with TB Track's geofencing, parents and transport in-charge can get alerts when the bus leaves its route or reaches a stop.

Question 6

BearTech ka sabse sasta GPS tracker kaunsa hai?

Accepted Answer

BT400 sabse sasta hai, ₹2,500 me, wired hai, 2G Airtel SIM pe chalta hai, accuracy 60-70m aur warranty sirf 6 mahine ki hai. Basic location tracking ke liye theek hai lekin lineup me sabse kam warranty aur loose accuracy isi me hai.

Question 7

Which BearTech GPS gives the most accurate location?

Accepted Answer

BT800 is the most accurate in the lineup at 10-15m, running on 4G/5G with a Jio SIM. It's priced at ₹4,500 and carries a 1-year 100% replacement guarantee.

Question 8

BT400 aur BT500 me actual difference kya hai, dono similar lagte hain?

Accepted Answer

BT500 Made-in-Japan hai, accuracy better hai (40-50m, BT400 ka 60-70m ke against), aur warranty pura 1-year hai jabki BT400 ki sirf 6 mahine. Dono wired hain, 2G Airtel SIM pe chalte hain, BT500 ₹500 zyada hai, ₹3,000.

Question 9

Should I go for BT600 or spend more on BT800?

Accepted Answer

BT600 runs on 2G+3G auto-switching Airtel SIM with 20-25m accuracy and a 2-year replacement guarantee at ₹3,800. BT800 runs on 4G/5G Jio SIM with tighter 10-15m accuracy and a 1-year guarantee at ₹4,500 — so BT600 wins on warranty length, BT800 wins on accuracy and network speed.

Question 10

BearTech ke GPS me fuel level sensor bhi built-in aata hai kya?

Accepted Answer

Nahi, current BT400/500/600/800/900 ya OBD me se koi bhi fuel sensor ke saath nahi aata. Ye lineup location, trip, mileage-estimate aur geofencing ke liye hai, TB Track ke through, fuel monitoring ke liye nahi. Fuel level monitoring ke liye BearTech ka alag Fuel Sensor GPS Tracker package hai (beartech.in/fuel-sensor-gps-tracker): Teltonika FMB920 tracker, fuel level sensor, installation (Bhopal mein), Trakzee Premium software aur Airtel SIM, ₹19,999 per vehicle.

Question 11

Can the app tell me exact fuel used, like a fuel gauge?

Accepted Answer

No — since the standard BT trackers have no fuel sensor hardware, TB Track cannot show real fuel consumption with them. What it does show is mileage and trip distance reports, which some customers use as a rough proxy, but that is not the same as an actual fuel sensor reading. For real fuel-level readings, BearTech offers a separate Fuel Sensor GPS Tracker package (₹19,999 per vehicle) with a fuel level sensor fitted in the tank and shown in the Trakzee Premium app: see beartech.in/fuel-sensor-gps-tracker.

Question 12

BearTech GPS app se gaadi ka engine remotely off kar sakte hain kya?

Accepted Answer

Nahi, BearTech kisi bhi model me officially engine cut-off ya remote ignition relay feature nahi deta. Ye sabse common confusion hai — device sirf location track aur report karta hai, gaadi ko control nahi karta.

Question 13

Why doesn't BearTech add an engine on/off feature — other brands claim to have it?

Accepted Answer

An engine cut-off relay wired into a running vehicle carries real safety risk — sudden engine stoppage on the road, insurance claim complications, and liability if something goes wrong. BearTech chooses not to offer it as a standard product for exactly this reason.

Question 14

Risk jaanne ke baad bhi mujhe engine cut-off relay lagwana hai — BearTech laga dega kya?

Accepted Answer

Agar customer khud zid kare to karwa sakte hain, lekin uske baad jo bhi ho — insurance claim reject hona, chalte hue engine achanak band hona, accident, ya device damage — uski koi bhi liability BearTech nahi lega. Ye standard offering nahi hai aur normal warranty/support scope se bahar hai.

Question 15

My device only seems to update when the vehicle is on — is that normal, or is it supposed to control the engine too?

Accepted Answer

That's normal — the tracker works off vehicle ignition/parking status to save battery and give accurate motion data, it does not control the engine at all. A real customer had exactly this confusion once, thinking "ignition-based tracking" meant the device could turn the engine on or off, which it cannot.

Question 16

BT900 regular wired GPS trackers se kaise alag hai?

Accepted Answer

BT900 magnetic hai aur pura wireless — ye apni 10,000mAh battery pe chalta hai, vehicle wiring ki zarurat nahi, ek charge me karib 25 din chal jata hai. Ye un assets ke liye hai jinhe idhar-udhar move karna ho ya jinme wiring nahi karni ho, jaise trailers, containers, ya rented vehicles.

Question 17

Can I shift the BT900 tracker from one vehicle to another myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes, since it's magnetic and wireless with no wiring involved, you can physically move it between vehicles or assets as needed. Just make sure it's mounted securely on a metal surface so it doesn't fall off during movement.

Question 18

OBD tracker install karne me kitna time lagta hai?

Accepted Answer

Ye OBD port me plug hi hota hai, isliye bas 2-3 minute me ho jata hai — koi wiring ya cutting nahi karni padti. BearTech ke saare GPS installations me se ye sabse fast hai.

Question 19

How long does installation take for the wired models like BT600 or BT800?

Accepted Answer

Free on-site installation is included, and it's typically done within the standard 2-working-day delivery-and-install window along with the wiring kit that comes with every wired model. Exact time on the day depends on the vehicle type, but it's a routine job for BearTech's installation team.

Question 20

Installation ke liye alag se paise dene padte hain kya?

Accepted Answer

Nahi, har wired GPS purchase ke saath free on-site installation milti hai, saath me wiring kit aur 1-year SIM aur software subscription bhi included hai. Aapko sirf listed device price dena hota hai.

Question 21

Can I install the GPS myself instead of waiting for the technician?

Accepted Answer

It's not recommended — improper self-installation is specifically listed as an exclusion under warranty, meaning any damage from a self-install won't be covered. Free professional installation is already included, so there's no cost reason to do it yourself.

Question 22

Agar installation ke time wiring galat ho jaye to responsibility kiski hoti hai?

Accepted Answer

Jab BearTech ki apni team installation karti hai, wiring sahi karne ki responsibility unki hoti hai — isi liye har wired model ke saath professional installation free include hai. Lekin self-installation ya third-party installation se hone wale issues manufacturing-defect warranty se bahar aate hain.

Question 23

I'm outside Bhopal — can BearTech still install a GPS tracker for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, BearTech ships and installs outside Bhopal too, with standard 2-working-day delivery. For locations outside Bhopal, Cash-on-Delivery is available but only with a token advance paid upfront.

Question 24

GPS order pe cash on delivery kar sakte hain kya?

Accepted Answer

COD sirf Bhopal ke bahar wale locations ke liye available hai, aur usme bhi dispatch se pehle ek token advance dena padta hai. Bhopal ke andar full payment installation ke time hi deni hoti hai.

Question 25

When exactly do I need to pay the full amount for the GPS device?

Accepted Answer

100% payment is due at the time of installation. There's no partial or deferred payment structure for the device itself outside the COD-with-advance arrangement for out-of-Bhopal orders.

Question 26

Installation ke baad agar device pasand na aaye to return karke refund le sakte hain kya?

Accepted Answer

Nahi — device deliver, install ya activate hone ke baad return, refund ya model-exchange bilkul nahi hota, chahe wajah kuch bhi ho, change-of-mind wali situation me bhi koi exception nahi hai. Sirf manufacturing defect warranty case alag hai.

Question 27

After buying BT400, can I later exchange it for a BT600 by paying the difference?

Accepted Answer

No, there's no model-exchange policy once the device has been delivered, installed, or activated. If you want a higher model's features, that would mean buying a fresh BT600 separately, not exchanging the BT400.

Question 28

Device sahi kaam kar raha hai lekin maine mann badal liya, phir bhi return kyu nahi hota?

Accepted Answer

Ye BearTech ka firm aur absolute policy hai jo har GPS order pe lagu hota hai — installation ya activation ke baad SIM provision ho chuki hoti hai, subscription live ho jata hai, aur unit used maana jata hai, isliye sirf verified manufacturing defect ke alawa return accept nahi hota. Isliye ye terms me purchase se pehle hi bata diya jata hai.

Question 29

What documents do I need to give BearTech to activate my GPS tracker?

Accepted Answer

None — BearTech doesn't require Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or your vehicle's RC to activate a device. All SIMs used are pre-activated, IP-locked, M2M IoT SIMs, not regular consumer SIMs that need KYC from you.

Question 30

GPS SIM ke liye Aadhaar kyu nahi chahiye, normal mobile connection jaisa nahi hai kya?

Accepted Answer

Kyunki ye regular consumer SIM nahi hai — ye pre-activated, IP-locked, non-transferable M2M IoT SIM card hai jo sirf machine-to-machine data ke liye hota hai, aur telecom KYC rules inke liye alag tarah se kaam karte hain. Isse call nahi ki ja sakti ya regular SIM ki tarah use nahi ho sakti, isi wajah se personal KYC nahi chahiye.

Question 31

Can I put my own personal SIM card into the GPS device instead of the one BearTech provides?

Accepted Answer

No — the SIM is a locked M2M IoT SIM tied specifically to that device and BearTech's platform; it's not designed to accept a swapped-in consumer SIM. Using the device requires the SIM and subscription BearTech provisions for it.

Question 32

BT400, BT500 aur BT600 me Airtel hai lekin BT800 me Jio kyu hai?

Accepted Answer

BT800 4G/5G network technology use karta hai, aur us connectivity tier ke liye Jio SIM use hoti hai, jabki 2G/3G models Airtel pe provision hote hain. Ye bas har device ki connectivity generation se juda network partnership hai, quality ka farak nahi hai.

Question 33

I drive through remote/rural areas a lot — which model's network will work better there?

Accepted Answer

This depends on ground-level Airtel and Jio tower coverage in your specific route, which BearTech's spec sheet doesn't detail area-by-area. As a general pattern, 2G (Airtel, used in BT400/500) tends to reach slightly more remote spots than newer 4G/5G bands, but you should confirm actual coverage for your route with BearTech before deciding.

Question 34

BT600 ka "auto-switch" 2G aur 3G ke beech actually kaise kaam karta hai?

Accepted Answer

BT600 aapki location pe jo bhi Airtel network available ho — 2G ya 3G — usko khud pick kar leta hai, koi manual action nahi karni padti. Isse ye single-network device ke comparison me zyada areas me connected reh pata hai.

Question 35

What exactly is TB Track — is it a separate app I need to download?

Accepted Answer

TB Track is BearTech's own GPS tracking software platform, made in India and hosted on AWS, available as a native Android app, an iOS app, and a web dashboard. It supports all BearTech GPS device types and gives you live tracking, trip and mileage reports, geofencing, and driver management.

Question 36

Mera iPhone hai — kya usme TB Track chalega?

Accepted Answer

Haan, TB Track ka native iOS app bhi hai, Android aur web dashboard ke alawa, to iPhone users ke liye fully support hai.

Question 37

Can I check my vehicle location from a computer browser instead of the phone app?

Accepted Answer

Yes, TB Track has a full web dashboard alongside the mobile apps, so you can log in from any computer browser to see live location, trips, and reports.

Question 38

Chahe koi bhi BearTech GPS model lein, kya same TB Track app use hogi?

Accepted Answer

Haan, TB Track saare BearTech GPS device types support karta hai — BT400 se lekar BT900 aur OBD tracker tak, sab isi ek platform se connect hote hain.

Question 39

Can I share my TB Track login with my driver or family member so they can also check location?

Accepted Answer

You can share your own login credentials at your discretion since it's your account, but be aware that anyone with those credentials gets full access to your live location and trip history. BearTech itself does not access your account unless you explicitly share credentials or request help.

Question 40

Kya main ek boundary/zone set kar sakta hoon jisse vehicle uss area se bahar jaye to alert mile?

Accepted Answer

Haan, geofencing TB Track ka core feature hai — aap ek zone define kar sakte hain aur vehicle uss zone me enter ya exit kare to alert mil jata hai. Ye commonly school buses, delivery routes aur fleet depots ke liye use hota hai.

Question 41

Does TB Track detect harsh braking, rash driving, or overspeeding?

Accepted Answer

BearTech's verified feature list confirms live tracking, trip/mileage reports, geofencing and driver management — specific driver-behavior alerts like harsh braking aren't detailed in the available documentation, so please confirm this directly with BearTech if it's a deciding factor for your purchase.

Question 42

TB Track ke andar "driver management" ka matlab kya hota hai?

Accepted Answer

Ye ek feature hai jisse fleet operators specific vehicles ke against drivers assign aur track kar sakte hain platform ke andar, ye accountability aur trip attribution ke liye useful hai fleet ke across. Exact sub-features BearTech support team app me live dikha sakti hai.

Question 43

Can I get a monthly trip/mileage report for accounting purposes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, trip and mileage reporting is a core TB Track feature, accessible from the app and web dashboard, useful for accounting, reimbursement, or fleet audit purposes.

Question 44

Agar subscription lapse ho jaye to purani trip/location history ka kya hota hai?

Accepted Answer

Location aur trip data karib 6 mahine ke liye retain hota hai, aur wo bhi tab tak jab tak subscription active ho — subscription expire hone ke baad us period ke baad data auto-delete ho jata hai. Isliye agar purani trip history kaam aani hai to subscription zyada der lapse hone se pehle usko download/export kar lein.

Question 45

Is BearTech staff actively watching or tracking my vehicle in the background?

Accepted Answer

No, BearTech does not actively monitor or track customer vehicles by default and has no standing access to your account. BearTech only looks at your tracking data if you explicitly share your login credentials or ask for help.

Question 46

BearTech mera location aur trip history kitne time tak store karta hai?

Accepted Answer

Karib 6 mahine, aur wo bhi tab tak jab tak subscription active rahe. Subscription expire hone ke baad wo data hamesha ke liye rakha nahi jata, auto-delete ho jata hai.

Question 47

Does BearTech sell or share my vehicle tracking data with anyone else?

Accepted Answer

BearTech's verified policy is that it does not actively access customer accounts by default and only does so if the customer explicitly shares credentials or requests support — there's no documented practice of sharing customer tracking data with outside parties.

Question 48

GPS subscription chalu rakhne ke liye har saal kitna dena hota hai?

Accepted Answer

Year 2 se lekar aage, renewal standard (Airtel-based) models ke liye ₹1600 per device per year hai, aur Jio-SIM-based BT800 devices ke liye ₹1800 per device per year. Year 1 already original purchase price me included hai.

Question 49

Why does BT800's yearly renewal cost more than the other models?

Accepted Answer

BT800 uses a Jio SIM on 4G/5G, and its renewal is priced at ₹1800/year compared to ₹1600/year for the Airtel-based standard models. The higher network tier carries a slightly higher recurring SIM/data cost.

Question 50

Pehle saal ke SIM aur software subscription ke liye alag se pay karna padta hai kya?

Accepted Answer

Nahi, pehle saal ka SIM recharge aur software subscription purchase ke time diye gaye device price me hi bundled hota hai. Yearly renewal fee sirf year 2 se pay karni shuru hoti hai.

Question 51

What is a GPS tracker and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

A GPS tracker is a small device fitted to a vehicle or asset that uses satellite positioning and a mobile SIM network to send its live location to a tracking platform. With BearTech, that platform is TB Track, so you can see location, route and status from your phone or computer.

Question 52

Do I need a wiring harness, or is a wireless option available?

Accepted Answer

Both. Our wired trackers connect to the vehicle ignition wiring for continuous power and ignition alerts. If you would rather avoid wiring, the OBD tracker plugs straight into the OBD port and the magnetic asset tracker runs on its own battery with no wiring at all.

Question 53

Is the GPS device waterproof?

Accepted Answer

No, BearTech GPS devices are not waterproof and are not covered for water damage under warranty. They are designed for normal in-vehicle use, not exposure to rain or submersion.

Question 54

Do I need to renew anything after the first year?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A Complete Package covers the TB Track software and the SIM recharge for the term you choose (1, 2 or 3 years). After that, renew TB Track and the SIM: ₹1,600 per device for 1 year, ₹3,000 for 2 years and ₹4,500 for 3 years on the Airtel models (BT400, BT500, BT600, BT900 and BT OBD), and ₹1,800, ₹3,500 and ₹5,000 on the Jio-SIM BT800. A device that is already installed, including one from another vendor whose SIM renewal has stopped, can be renewed with a fresh SIM and TB Track for ₹1,900 per year; contact us to confirm. AMC, service visits and repairs are billed separately.

Question 55

Can I use BearTech GPS as a location tracker for my car or bike?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fit a wired tracker (cars and bikes) or the OBD plug-and-play tracker (cars and other OBD-enabled vehicles, not bikes), and the TB Track app on Android or iOS, or the web dashboard, shows the vehicle's live location with a full address, route history, and ignition, over-speeding and parking alerts. The magnetic asset tracker is for non-vehicle assets and does not give engine on/off alerts.

Question 56

What is the price of a GPS tracker for a car or bike?

Accepted Answer

BearTech’s 1-year Complete Package prices are ₹2,500 for the BT400 basic wired tracker, ₹3,000 for the BT500 advanced wired tracker, ₹3,800 for the BT600 2G+3G tracker, ₹4,500 for the BT800 4G+5G tracker, ₹4,000 for the BT OBD plug-and-play tracker and ₹5,000 for the BT900 magnetic asset tracker. Each Complete Package includes the device, wiring kit (charging cable for the BT900), TB Track software, SIM recharge for the term, free on-site installation (not needed for the BT900) and 1-year AMC free. 2-year and 3-year packages, the Device and Hardware Only prices are in the rates tables on this page. Price may vary as per requirements, so please confirm the latest price when you request a quote.

Question 57

Can I track more than one vehicle from a single account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, TB Track supports multi-vehicle and multi-user management, so fleet owners can monitor every vehicle from one dashboard with role-based logins for admins, managers and users.

Question 58

What happens if my vehicle goes out of network coverage?

Accepted Answer

The tracker needs SIM network coverage to send live updates. Location tracking resumes automatically as soon as the vehicle re-enters a covered area.

Question 59

Can BearTech install a GPS tracker on a bike?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our wired trackers can be fitted to bikes as well as cars, commercial vehicles, and construction or agricultural vehicles. The OBD tracker only fits vehicles with an OBD port, so it is not suitable for bikes.

Question 60

Do you provide GPS tracking installation outside Bhopal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we install and service GPS trackers across Madhya Pradesh, with remote support available more widely. Call or WhatsApp us with your location and vehicle details for the fastest response.

Question 61

Can parents or school administrators track a school bus in real time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, school transport is one of our common use cases. TB Track shows live bus location, geofenced pickup and drop alerts, and trip history, which schools typically share with transport coordinators and parents.

Question 62

Can a GPS tracker be used to track a child for safety, not just a vehicle?

Accepted Answer

BearTech's trackers are built and warrantied as vehicle and asset trackers, not as dedicated child-safety wearables. Our compact battery asset tracker can technically be carried, but its size, battery life and durability haven't been designed or tested for that use. If personal/child tracking is what you actually need, tell us that use case when you enquire so we can be upfront about whether our hardware fits or not.

Question 63

Can I use a BearTech GPS tracker to track a pet?

Accepted Answer

Not as a dedicated product — our trackers are designed for vehicles and fixed assets, not for a pet's collar. The wireless battery asset tracker is the closest fit in our range, but we haven't tested or warrantied it for that use, so treat it as an unofficial fit rather than a pet-tracking product.

Question 64

Is GPS installation support available in Telugu, Tamil or Malayalam?

Accepted Answer

Our installation and support team currently works in Hindi and English. If you need guidance in Telugu, Tamil or Malayalam, mention it when you enquire and we'll do our best to arrange it for your installation.
