Botad is a compact district with busy roads. Trucks carry cotton and groundnut to ginning yards in Botad town, mini-trucks take edible oil and yarn from mill gates towards Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar, buses link Botad with Gadhada and Barwala on fixed timetables, and tempo travellers bring families to the Hanuman temple at Salangpur, most of all on Saturdays. Each of these vehicles spends diesel where the owner cannot see the gauge. A fuel level sensor reports it for you: a probe in the tank measures the diesel, the tracker in the cabin attaches time and place, and your phone shows the litres.

BearTech's fuel monitoring system for Botad costs ₹19,999 per vehicle, plus GST, as one package. It includes a Teltonika FMB920 tracker, one sensor from Omnicomm LLS-AF 4, Mercetech or Mielta Fantom with the same price for each, the fitting, a Trakzee Premium login on mobile and computer, an Airtel data SIM and a one-year warranty plus AMC. What you see: litres in the tank now, every refill with date and time, alerts for sharp drops and mileage reports. On a sound tank that is fitted and calibrated well, figures come within about 95%. The system tells you what happened; it does not lock the tank or keep anyone from drawing diesel. Delivery takes about 2 working days, stock permitting.

Probe, tracker and app: a Botad cotton truck's diesel step by step

Every fuel monitoring system starts with a measuring probe in the tank, and on a Botad cotton truck that probe is the first link in a short chain. It goes in through a hole made in the top of the diesel tank and stands upright, trimmed to the tank's depth. The deeper the diesel around it, the stronger its reading; as the truck burns fuel, the reading eases down.

Link two is the Teltonika FMB920 tracker behind the dashboard. It picks up the probe's signal along a cable if you chose Omnicomm, or over Bluetooth if you chose Mercetech or Mielta Fantom. The tracker also knows where the truck is, how fast it is moving and whether the ignition is on. Link three, the Airtel SIM, sends all of that to Trakzee Premium, the app and web screen you open.

Calibration makes the numbers trustworthy. When the sensor is fitted, the executive matches its readings with known volumes of diesel in that particular tank, so the screen can display litres rather than raw signal. If the tank is ever swapped, welded or the probe removed, calibration must be done again, otherwise the litres shown will slowly part ways with reality.

Here is how a cotton truck's day reads on your phone. A fill at a pump near Botad is a step up with the pump's location. The run out to a farm and back is a gentle slope down. The wait outside a ginning yard is flat if the engine is off and a slow slide if it idles. A sudden fall is a step down that triggers an alert. Mileage reports then total the day in litres and kilometres.

Saturday at Salangpur and three other Botad fuel stories

A tempo traveller on a Salangpur Saturday. It picks up a family early, drives to the Kashtabhanjan Hanuman temple, waits through darshan and the crowds, and returns by evening. The fuel line slopes on the road and should stay flat during the long wait. If it slides instead, the engine ran for the air conditioning, which is worth a calm word with the driver. The record gives diesel per pilgrimage trip. On festival days such as Hanuman Jayanti, the same vehicle may make two trips, and the record shows both.

A cotton truck in picking season. It brings a farmer's bales to a ginning yard in Botad town and joins the queue at the weighbridge. Over a few weeks, the owner sees how much diesel goes into waiting compared with driving. That figure helps when agreeing loading arrangements or a switch-off rule. The record gives litres per load and per hour in the yard.

A route bus between Botad and Gadhada. It runs to a fixed timetable, several times a day, over the same road. Its consumption per round should hardly vary. When it creeps up, the workshop checks tyres, injectors and brakes first. The record gives the operator diesel per round trip and per week, which helps when fares or timings come up for discussion.

An oil-mill mini-truck to Ahmedabad. It leaves the mill gate with tins of edible oil, delivers to a buyer and comes back the same evening. Refills on the way appear with their pump locations, ready to be matched against the driver's slips. The record gives fuel per delivery run, which the mill can set beside the freight it charges.

Ginning yards, oil mills and temple roads: where Botad's diesel goes

Botad became a district in 2013 and has four tehsils: Botad, Barwala, Gadhada and Ranpur. It is tucked between Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar, with Surendranagar to the north-west, Rajkot to the west and Amreli to the south, so most outbound loads change district within a couple of hours. Botad town is the market centre and a railway junction, and roads fan out from it to Gadhada, Barwala and Ranpur. Rail sidings at the junction also draw trucks that wait for wagons to be loaded.

Farm freight sets the main rhythm. The land is flat with black cotton soil, and cotton, groundnut, wheat and cumin are the crops people discuss. Cotton picking and marketing run through the cooler months, groundnut arrives in autumn and wheat in spring. Trucks then queue at ginning yards and oil units, and much of their diesel is spent standing in line rather than driving.

Industry and passengers add two more streams. Ginning and oil mills send mini-trucks with edible oil, yarn and fabric to buyers along the Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar corridor. Private buses and staff shuttles run between Botad, Gadhada and Barwala on timetables. Salangpur, in Barwala tehsil, draws large crowds to its Hanuman temple, especially on Saturdays and festival days such as Hanuman Jayanti, and Gadhada's Swaminarayan temple brings visitors throughout the year.

Summer adds water tankers serving villages and wedding bookings for buses and cabs, and the monsoon fills seasonal streams such as the Ghelo near Gadhada, closing some low crossings for a spell. All of these patterns burn fuel differently. A tank record for each vehicle shows which job, which season and which route accounts for the diesel bill.

Fuel sensor in Botad

Which sensor suits which Botad vehicle

Omnicomm, Mercetech and Mielta Fantom cost the same within the ₹19,999 package, so pick by the vehicle in front of you. Look at three things: the distance between the tank and the spot where the tracker will be mounted, the tank's material, and whether someone will remember to change a sensor battery in a few years.

Omnicomm LLS-AF 4 connects to the tracker by cable and runs on the vehicle's electricity. It plugs into the tracker's analog input and carries no battery at all. Cotton trucks and oil-mill trucks, which usually have a tank close to the cabin and stay with one owner for a long time, suit it well, and the wiring is ordinary work for the executive.

The other two are wireless. Mercetech uses Bluetooth and an internal battery, which spares you a long cable on buses and tempo travellers whose tanks sit far back. Mielta Fantom also uses Bluetooth, in version 5.0, with a battery of its own, tilt and temperature sensing, and a four-bolt steel flange that fixes to steel or plastic tanks; Mielta's phone app is used for its set-up. Farm pickups and tractors around Ranpur with plastic tanks are the typical candidates.

Do budget for battery replacement on the wireless sensors, since those batteries are consumables and the warranty leaves them out. BearTech decides the model and probe length only after a look at the tank, and an equivalent sensor may be fitted if the listed one is out of stock. A single Trakzee Premium account can hold vehicles on different sensors. A WhatsApp photo of each tank is the quickest way to get advice.

Yard owner, dispatch desk and accountant: three Botad logins, one fuel record

In a Botad ginning business or travel agency, diesel concerns three desks. Trakzee Premium lets the owner create extra user logins, so the dispatch desk and the accounts desk can open the same fuel record on their own phones or computers. The owner's password stays private, and all three see identical figures.

The owner's interest is the unusual. Each morning, scanning the drop alerts and the refill list for a few minutes picks out what needs a question: a tempo traveller that lost diesel while parked at Salangpur, a fill larger than the tank can hold, a truck whose consumption rose sharply this week. Normal entries need no time at all. The phone app is enough for this check, wherever the owner happens to be.

The dispatch desk works from the live map. Before Saturday's pilgrim trips, which vehicles need diesel? Before a cotton truck heads to a far village, will it make the round trip? During the day the desk sees halts and idle time alongside fuel, and when an alert arrives, it is usually the dispatcher who calls the driver first and notes the answer.

The accounts desk works from dates and quantities. Every refill shows a time and a rise in litres, which can be ticked against pump slips each week, and monthly consumption by vehicle is filed with the fuel bills. Over a season, the yard's story and the ledger's story start to match. If an employee leaves, the owner removes that login and the history remains for the next person. A shared weekly look at the screen keeps all three desks in step.

Black-soil lanes, seasonal streams and tank wear: what the figure cannot promise

BearTech's figure is about 95% accuracy on a sound tank after proper fitting and calibration. That is good enough to run vehicles by, but it is not a laboratory measurement. The tank's shape and age, the diesel's quality, the slope under the vehicle and the sway of fuel inside the tank all nudge the reading a little. Older trucks with dented tanks are the most likely to read a little off.

Botad's roads are mostly flat, which helps, but village lanes in black cotton soil turn rutted after rain, and trucks rock as they cross them. Ginning yards and temple parking areas can be uneven, leaving a parked vehicle at an angle. When the monsoon fills seasonal streams, low crossings close and detours add bumpy kilometres. For a fair view of any refill or loss, compare levels recorded with the vehicle parked on level ground.

Coverage is the other practical limit. Data travels on an Airtel SIM, and if a stretch has weak signal, the live view pauses until the vehicle reconnects. A gap reflects the network, not the driver's conduct. If you know such stretches on your routes, tell us when ordering so they are expected. A short monsoon detour can also lengthen a route, which shows up as more kilometres, not as a fault in the reading.

And there are firm terms. Wireless sensor batteries are consumables outside warranty. BearTech accepts no returns, refunds or exchanges, so tank questions must be answered first. The equipment observes and alerts; it holds no lock and cannot stop anyone drawing diesel. A locking cap and sensible yard rules remain your own business, and the record simply tells you when to look.

The executive's journey from Bhopal: fitting day in Botad

BearTech is a Bhopal company that has worked in vehicle tracking since 2014, and it keeps no staff, agent or outlet in Botad. For your order, a BearTech executive travels from Bhopal to wherever the vehicles are kept, whether a ginning yard, an oil mill compound, a bus depot or a travel agent's parking area. The client pays for that travel and stay, and the amount is told to you before you commit.

Choose the day with your own calendar in mind. Avoid Saturdays for tempo travellers and the peak cotton weeks for trucks; a weekday after the rush works well. Park every vehicle with the top of its tank reachable and the filler area wiped clean. Have the registration papers and the tank photos you sent at hand, and keep one person on site who knows the routes and who should get alerts.

For each vehicle, the executive inspects the tank, decides the probe length, drills the opening, cuts the probe to the tank's depth, and fixes and seals it. Then the FMB920 is wired in and paired with the sensor, and calibration is completed on the spot. Finally the vehicle is entered in Trakzee Premium, and you are shown the live level and a test alert on your phone.

Delivery of the package takes about 2 working days, stock permitting. Full payment falls due at fitting, and a token-amount COD route exists for orders outside Bhopal. As there are no returns, refunds or exchanges, confirm every tank detail first. If your vehicles are spread across tehsils, gathering them in Botad town for the day saves time.

Thirteen Botad vehicles and the three-year arithmetic

For one vehicle, year one costs ₹19,999 for the Complete Package, whichever sensor you pick, and covers the tracker, sensor, fitting, Trakzee Premium, the Airtel SIM and a one-year warranty with AMC. Renewal from year two is ₹3,000 per vehicle per year. A vehicle's running total is therefore ₹22,999 after two years and ₹25,999 after three, which equal the 2-year and 3-year plan prices.

Now a mixed Botad business: five cotton trucks, four tempo travellers, two route buses and two oil-mill mini-trucks, thirteen vehicles in all. Year one is 13 × ₹19,999 = ₹2,59,987. Each later year adds 13 × ₹3,000 = ₹39,000. The total after year two is ₹2,59,987 + ₹39,000 = ₹2,98,987, and after year three ₹2,98,987 + ₹39,000 = ₹3,37,987. As a check, 13 × ₹25,999 = ₹3,37,987.

The executive's travel and stay for the Botad visit are added, paid by the client and named before ordering. Fitting all thirteen in a single planned visit keeps that to one journey. A vehicle with a second tank or probe is priced separately on request, and quotes for a fleet can move with requirements, so treat these totals as worked arithmetic rather than a quotation. Groundnut season can add a second rush, so plan the visit around both crops.

No saving is promised; it depends entirely on what your records show. A sensible check is to set the three-year total beside one cotton season's diesel spend for the same vehicles, and beside the time currently spent sorting out slips, queues and Saturday trips. If the records answer those questions, you can weigh the cost on facts. For a quote, call or WhatsApp 97526 44035.

An alert outside a ginning yard: how to respond without accusing anyone

Imagine a sudden-drop alert at night from a cotton truck parked outside a ginning yard, waiting to unload in the morning. All it tells you is that the level fell faster than normal running would explain. Treat it as a question with several possible answers, most of them ordinary, and approach it in a fixed order.

Begin on the map. Note the time and place, and whether the truck stood still. Yard approaches are often rutted, so a truck may have been parked at an angle, and a tilted tank gives a lower reading that recovers once it moves. Then view the graph for the whole day. A dip that bounces back is tilt or slosh; a step down that persists while the truck stands level is the case to follow up. Write down the exact minute the alert arrived.

Check for any coverage gap around the alert, since delayed data can make a slow change look abrupt. Then speak to the driver politely, while the night is fresh in memory, and listen to the explanation. Set it against the last pump slip and the place of the last refill on the record before drawing any conclusion.

Close the loop in a register: date, truck, place, explanation and outcome. Over a season the register shows whether alerts gather at one yard, one truck or one driver, which is worth far more than any single night. Keep the system's limits clear. It records and warns; it cannot lock a tank or stop anyone. Locking caps and clear rules for overnight parking remain your own measures.

Fuel monitoring system for trucks, tractors, JCB and generators in Botad

Transport owners and contractors in Botad use the same package on different diesel vehicles. A fuel tracking system on a truck shows diesel per trip, on a tractor or a JCB it shows diesel per working hour, and on a generator or a bus it shows diesel against running time or route. A diesel level sensor in Botad is fitted by BearTech after the tank type and depth are checked.

If you compare a fuel sensor price in Botad, compare the whole package: tracker, sensor, software, SIM and fitting. Fuel sensor installation in Botad is done by a BearTech executive; travel and stay charges are paid by the client, and COD with a token amount is available.

Frequently asked questions

Fuel sensor in Botad: questions answered

What does a fuel monitoring system cost in Botad?

₹19,999 per vehicle for the package: a Teltonika FMB920 tracker, one fuel level sensor, fitting, a Trakzee Premium login, an Airtel data SIM and a one-year warranty plus AMC. Omnicomm, Mercetech and Mielta Fantom all carry that price. Renewal from the second year is ₹3,000 per vehicle per year. The executive's travel and stay for Botad are billed to you and stated before you order.

Does BearTech have staff in Botad to fit it?

No. BearTech is a Bhopal company, in vehicle tracking since 2014, and keeps no staff in Botad. An executive comes from Bhopal to fit and calibrate the sensor at your yard or depot. The travel and stay are your cost, and we share that amount before you commit to the order.

Will it suit a tempo traveller doing Salangpur trips on Saturdays?

Yes, if it runs on diesel and its tank allows the probe in from above. Long waits at the temple show up clearly: a flat line with the engine off, a slow slide with it running. Mercetech is often handy on such vehicles because the tank sits far from the dashboard. Share a tank photo before ordering.

Is cash on delivery possible for a Botad order?

Yes. Outside Bhopal, an order can go through COD against a token amount. If you do not use that route, the full payment is collected when the sensor is fitted. Say which suits you and the quote will confirm it. Because no returns, refunds or exchanges are offered, finalise all details before paying.

How quickly can the package reach Botad?

In about 2 working days, stock permitting. The fitting visit is then arranged with you, since the executive travels from Bhopal. Pick a weekday outside the cotton rush and away from Saturday pilgrim trips, and we will confirm the date and travel cost before you order.

How accurate is the reading on Botad's roads?

About 95% on a sound tank after correct fitting and calibration. Rutted black-soil lanes, uneven yards, tank wear and diesel quality all play a part. Judge refills and losses from levels recorded with the vehicle parked on level ground, and treat the figure as a working guide rather than an exact measure.

Does the sensor stop drivers from taking diesel?

No. It records the level, logs every refill and alerts you to a sharp drop, and that is all. It cannot lock the tank or block anyone. What it offers is a time and place for each change, which you can raise with the driver and compare with pump slips. Physical safeguards stay in your hands.

What will renewal cost after year one?

From year two it is ₹3,000 per vehicle per year, which keeps the Trakzee Premium login and SIM data running. Three years for one vehicle come to ₹25,999, identical to the 3-year plan. Renew before the due date to avoid a gap, and call 97526 44035 if you would like the date confirmed.

Can our dispatch desk and accountant use separate logins?

Yes. The owner can add users in Trakzee Premium, each with a separate login on phone or computer. The dispatch desk can check live levels before trips, and the accountant can download refill and mileage reports, without the owner's password. Give us the names when you order.

Is the battery in a wireless sensor covered?

No. The batteries in Mercetech and Mielta Fantom are consumables and outside the one-year warranty, so replacing them is the owner's cost. Omnicomm LLS-AF 4 runs on vehicle power and has no battery. If you would rather never think about a sensor battery, choose the wired model.

What if the sensor does not fit my tank after all?

BearTech has a strict no returns, refunds or exchanges policy, so the tank is checked before you buy. Send its capacity, its material and a clear photo of the opening. The model and probe length are fixed after that check, and an equivalent sensor may be supplied if the named one is out of stock.

Will data come through on village roads towards Ranpur and Gadhada?

The tracker uses an Airtel SIM, so data reaches you wherever Airtel coverage reaches the vehicle. On weak stretches the live view pauses and continues once the signal returns. A pause is a network matter and says nothing about the driver. Let us know any weak stretches when you order.

Can a fuel monitoring system go on a route bus, a tractor or a ginning-mill generator?

Route buses and tractors with a diesel tank the probe can enter from above are suitable, though tractor tanks vary, so send a photo. A generator at a ginning mill, a fixed storage tank, a car or a two-wheeler needs a conversation first, because the package is designed around a vehicle tracker.

What should I send for a Botad quote?

Share the vehicle type and number, the tank's capacity and material, the fuel it uses, the tehsil where it is kept and a photo of the tank opening. WhatsApp or call 97526 44035. Our reply gives the sensor, probe length, visit plan and a full price including travel and stay.

What does fuel monitoring cost in Botad?

The package is ₹19,999 per vehicle (GST extra) for one year, with the Teltonika FMB920 GPS tracker, one fuel level sensor, Trakzee Premium software and an Airtel SIM. Two-year and three-year plans are ₹22,999 and ₹25,999. Renewal is ₹3,000 per year.

Which vehicles in Botad can have a fuel sensor?

Diesel vehicles: trucks, tippers, tractors, JCB and construction machines, buses, tankers, trailers, mixers, pickups, ambulances and generators. Tank type and depth are checked at the survey. See the fuel sensor by vehicle page for each type.

Where can I get a fuel sensor with GPS near me in Botad, and is there a price list?

BearTech is a fuel sensor dealer in Bhopal and supplies a fuel sensor with GPS to Botad. Ask for the price list and a quotation on 97526 44035; the fuel sensor cost, delivery and how installation is arranged for Botad are confirmed on the call. You get fuel theft detection alerts and a fuel drain report (fuel chori ka alert). The system alerts and reports; it does not stop theft. Tank capacity and depth are noted at the survey.
