Quick answer
Payroll-integrated attendance reporting turns raw biometric punches into monthly summaries of attendance, late marks and overtime that your payroll team can use directly. BearTech configures these reports on its Mantra attendance installations; if you do not yet have devices, fingerprint machines start from ₹5,310 including GST.

Attendance data is only useful to HR if it turns into something payroll can actually use — late-mark counts, overtime hours, leave balances — rather than a raw list of clock-in/out timestamps someone has to manually calculate. This solution is about the reporting layer on top of a biometric attendance installation: structured exports built for HR and payroll use, not just the attendance hardware itself.
BearTech configures the biometric attendance dashboard's reporting so a business gets the specific breakdowns it needs — daily/monthly attendance summaries, late-arrival counts, overtime hours — ready to hand to whoever runs payroll, rather than a generic log.
This suits businesses that already have (or are installing) biometric attendance but have been manually calculating late marks, overtime and leave from raw logs, and want that turned into a ready-to-use report each cycle.
Write down your shift and late-mark rules
Reports are only as good as the rules behind them, and those rules usually live in someone's head. Before setup, HR should write them out: shift start and end times, grace minutes before a late mark, how many late marks equal a half-day, how overtime is counted, how weekly offs and holidays are handled, and what happens on a night shift that ends the next morning. Note exceptions too, such as field staff or managers who do not punch. Give BearTech this document during setup so the reports reflect your policy rather than a default template.
Running the first month in parallel
Do not switch payroll to the new reports on day one. For the first month, let HR prepare attendance the old way while the system produces its own report. At the end of the month, compare the two for every employee. Differences usually point to a rule that was set up differently from how HR actually applies it, or to employees who missed punches. Fix the rule, recheck, and only then use the system report for payroll. This one month of checking saves many disputes with staff later and builds trust in the numbers.
What is in scope and what is quoted separately
This work is mainly reporting and configuration on BearTech biometric devices you already have or are installing, so new hardware is not needed if devices are in place. The output is a structured report or export that your payroll process can use. A direct software-to-software link with a specific payroll package is a separate requirement and is scoped after BearTech knows which software you run. If new devices are needed, delivery takes about 3 working days and installation is ₹590 per machine. Call 97526 44035 with your device model and payroll software name.
