GPS Tracker & Vehicle Tracking System in Didwana-Kuchaman

Didwana-Kuchaman is a newer district in central Rajasthan, formed from Nagaur, and its headquarters is Didwana. The main towns are Makrana, Kuchaman City, Ladnun, Parbatsar and Nawa. It touches Nagaur and lies close to Jaipur, Sikar and Churu, so trucks and buses here are usually joining state and national highways that link those cities, with long open stretches and few places to stop in between. Between the towns the roads run long and open, so a missed call can mean hours without news of a truck.

Industry follows the land. Makrana is the marble centre, with quarries, cutting units and loaded trailers leaving daily. Didwana is known for its salt lake, and salt trucks load around it. The railway also serves the region, including stations around Makrana and Kuchaman, so road vehicles often feed a siding. For an owner, the main question is how long a truck waited at a yard or siding before it moved again.

Culture adds its own traffic. Kuchaman City has a hill fort that draws visitors, Ladnun is a Jain centre with regular pilgrim groups, and Parbatsar hosts a livestock fair associated with Veer Tejaji. These bring buses, tourist taxis and cattle vehicles in bursts. A tracker records each trip's route and halts, which helps an owner who has handed the vehicle to a driver for a long, remote run. Cattle vehicles and fair buses add short, heavy bursts of traffic that owners like to review afterwards.

Marble and salt trucks come first. The BT500 at Rs 3,000 is wired with a one-year warranty and harsh-driving alerts, while the BT600 at Rs 3,800 adds 2G/3G switching and a two-year guarantee that replaces the device. For heavy loads, stoppage time, parking location and playback explain more than speed. Owners often ask whether a Makrana trailer reached the cutting unit by the planned road or took a longer one. Playback answers that in a minute, and a stoppage list shows whether the driver waited at a dhaba, a weighbridge or a roadside repair shop.

Passenger vehicles follow. Pilgrim, school and fair buses suit the BT600, named by route. A taxi to Jaipur can use the plug-in BT OBD at Rs 4,000 (cars only, engine alerts slightly late) or the wired BT800 at Rs 4,500, with 4G, 5G and a Jio SIM. A school or pilgrim operator in Ladnun or Kuchaman City mostly cares about punctuality and safe driving. The dashboard can show the morning run on a map, and harsh-driving alerts on the wired models give the office something factual to discuss with a driver.

Equipment and bikes close the list. Trailers, loaders, generators and pump sets lack a convenient power point, so the magnetic BT900 at Rs 5,000 runs 25 days on its battery and shows position, though not ignition. A bike takes the Rs 2,500 BT400 with ignition and parking alerts over 2G Airtel; check coverage first. For owners with only one or two vehicles, a single BT500 or BT400 may be enough; there is no need to buy the most expensive unit. Ask us on WhatsApp which model matches your routes, because the cost of a wrong choice cannot be returned.

As a general pattern in central Rajasthan, kharif crops such as bajra, moong and moth are harvested around October and November, and rabi crops such as wheat and mustard follow in spring. Farm pickups and tractors are busiest then. Confirm local mandi dates with your agent, because rain moves them each year, and check alert settings before the busy weeks start. Match your alert settings to these weeks, so that the busiest days do not bury you in notifications.

Fairs and festivals create travel peaks. The Parbatsar livestock fair is usually held in the monsoon months around the Tejaji observance, and pilgrim and wedding travel to Ladnun, Kuchaman and nearby shrines rises in the cooler months. Dates follow the lunar calendar, so check local notices each year. Compare trip reports before and after these weeks to see which vehicles earned their cost. Local people know exact dates better than any guide, so ask your yard manager or the fair committee, then set reminders accordingly.

Summer temperatures are high and the roads are open, which is hard on batteries and drivers. Marble haulage is usually steady but slows when quarries pause for weather or festivals. During the monsoon, local roads can get slippery and vehicles halt longer. Use the quieter weeks for servicing and any re-fitting, and keep an eye on the BT900 battery during long idle periods. A short written checklist before each season, covering battery, SIM and wiring, saves a lot of trouble later in the year.

A dashboard pays only if someone opens it. TB Track works as an Android and iOS app and as a browser dashboard. Each vehicle appears with its trail. Each morning, see which trucks left the quarry, which still stand and which buses started. The dashboard also keeps the history, so last Tuesday's run from a Makrana yard can be opened and checked on a laptop. Set vehicle names the first day, because a clear list saves everyone time later.

Use geofences: draw a boundary around a Makrana cutting unit, a Didwana salt yard, a school or a bus stand, and arrivals and departures are logged. That is a simple record if a delivery time is questioned. Keep over-speed and parking alerts to a few, and check them again after two weeks. A geofence round a weighbridge or a siding tells you how long a load waited there, which matters when payment depends on delivery time at a Didwana buyer.

Reports sum up the week. Trip, stoppage, idle and distance data export to Excel or PDF, and playback shows any day. BT400 to BT800 give ignition alerts; BT900 does not. Separate roles for owner, manager and accountant keep views clean. Ask on WhatsApp if a setting puzzles you. Many owners keep a weekly habit: export the Excel report on Saturday, compare kilometres per vehicle, and note any truck with unusually long halts for a talk on Monday.

Names make a fleet readable. Before fitting, note each registration, driver and route, then label vehicles to match, such as Makrana slab 1 or Didwana salt 2. Plain numbers soon confuse people, especially when a family shares the account. Fleets in this district are often family businesses, with a father, sons and a munshi all asking questions about the same truck. A clear naming scheme means that one glance at the phone answers them all, and that the person calling the driver knows which road he is on.

Attach each driver to a vehicle so reports say who drove. Alerts for harsh driving on BT500 and above give a calm basis for a talk. A munshi can see only the trucks he dispatches, while totals stay with the owner. Role-based access also protects privacy inside a family firm. The accountant can open the reports he needs without seeing live positions, and the dispatcher can follow trucks without seeing cost totals. Choose roles once and review them when staff change.

Add vehicles in stages: one or two first, a few weeks of reports, then the rest. A mixed fleet is normal: BT500 or BT600 on trucks, BT OBD on cars, BT900 on trailers. Renewal applies per device from year two. Ask for the figure and send your list to 97526 44035 for a quote and AMC options. Keep a note of which vehicles carry which model, since mixed fleets are easy to confuse when it is time to renew or to replace a device.
