Fleet & Vehicle Tracking

Quick answer

Fleet and vehicle tracking means fitting a GPS tracker to each truck, car or commercial vehicle so its live location, route playback and geofence alerts show on the TB Track app and web dashboard. BearTech supplies six BT-series trackers from ₹2,500 (BT400) with SIM, and wired models are installed free by BearTech or tie-up installers across Madhya Pradesh.

Any business running more than a couple of vehicles eventually asks the same question: where are they right now, and did they go where they were supposed to? A fleet tracking solution answers that with a GPS device wired (or, for BearTech's BT900, simply mounted) to the vehicle that reports its location, speed and stops back to a dashboard and mobile app in near real time.

BearTech installs one of its BT-series trackers on each vehicle and connects it to the TB Track platform, so an owner or dispatcher can see every vehicle on a live map, draw geofences around depots or delivery zones, and get an alert the moment a vehicle enters or leaves one. Historical playback lets you replay any day's route to settle a dispute or plan a better one.

The result for transport, logistics and rental fleet operators is fewer 'where is my vehicle' phone calls, faster answers for customers asking about a delivery, and a paper trail of exactly where every vehicle went and when — useful for both operations and insurance claims.

Choosing the right tracker for each vehicle type

A mixed fleet rarely needs one model everywhere. Trucks, buses and commercial vans with a steady battery supply usually take a wired tracker from the BT400, BT500, BT600 or BT800 range, fitted by a technician so the system can report ignition on and off. The BT800 runs on a Jio 4G SIM. Company cars can use the BT OBD, which plugs into the car's OBD port and does not suit bikes. Trailers, or vehicles that change hands often, may suit the BT900, a magnetic battery tracker that needs no wiring. Share your vehicle list and BearTech will suggest a model for each one.

How a fleet rollout works from order to dashboard

Once the vehicle list and models are agreed, devices usually reach you in about 2 working days. In Bhopal, BearTech's own installation team fits the wired trackers; in Indore, Pithampur, Dewas and Ujjain the Indore team handles fitting, and other districts are covered by tie-up installers. Each tracker comes with a SIM, so there is no separate data plan to arrange. After fitting, every vehicle is added to one TB Track account, where you can name vehicles, draw geofences around depots or customer sites, and check that ignition alerts and route playback work before the installer leaves.

Using daily reports to run the fleet better

The live map answers 'where is it now', but reports are where most fleet owners find savings. TB Track reports summarise trips and stops for each vehicle over a chosen date range, so you can compare how vehicles were used across the week and spot ones sitting idle. Ignition alerts show when a vehicle was started outside working hours, and geofence alerts confirm when a truck reached or left a loading point. Many transporters go through these reports with drivers once a week. Over time the data helps decide which routes to combine, which vehicles to rotate and where an extra vehicle is really needed.
