Quick answer
Construction site surveillance is CCTV for the gate, material yard and machinery park, planned to move as the build progresses and often paired with BT900 trackers on equipment. BearTech surveys the site free; Wi-Fi, 4G SIM and solar cameras suit sites without mains power or broadband. A 4-camera setup starts from ₹16,469 including GST.

A construction site is one of the harder places to secure: it changes shape as the build progresses, has valuable material and machinery sitting out in the open, and often has no permanent structure to mount equipment on. Site surveillance for construction focuses on flexible camera placement (gate, material yard, machinery park) that can be relocated as the site evolves, alongside solar or temporary power options where mains power isn't yet available.
BearTech can combine CCTV coverage of the gate and yard with GPS/BT900 tracking on excavators, generators and other mobile equipment that has no fixed location to secure — giving a site manager both a recorded view of activity and a way to locate equipment that gets moved between work zones or between sites.
This is aimed at builders and contractors who need practical, adjustable security for a temporary environment rather than a permanent installation designed for a finished building.
Choosing power and network for a temporary site
Most construction sites start without a proper electricity connection or internet line, so these two decide the camera type. Solar cameras can cover a remote yard or boundary corner where no power point exists. 4G SIM cameras send video over the mobile network, so the builder can view the site from the office without broadband. Where a site office or container has power, a recorder can be placed there with wired cameras around it. During the free survey, BearTech checks what the site has today and what will be available later, so the setup is not outdated a month after installation.
Re-planning cameras at each stage of the build
A site changes shape every few months. In the early stage, the priority is the gate and the open material yard with steel, cement and sand. Once the structure rises, the store room for fittings and electrical items needs cover, and the gate camera may need moving as the approach road shifts. Near completion, finished floors with costly fittings become the risk. Plan two or three camera layouts at the start and agree with BearTech when each shift will happen. Ask for a quote to relocate cameras when the time comes, rather than leaving them covering empty ground.
Tracking machinery alongside the cameras
Cameras cover fixed points, but machinery moves between work zones and sometimes between projects. The BT900 is a magnetic battery GPS tracker with up to about 25 days of backup and no wiring, suited to generators, mixers and trailers. For excavators, tractors or tippers with their own battery and ignition, a wired tracker from the BT400 to BT800 range also gives ignition alerts; trackers start from ₹2,500 with SIM. All trackers report to the TB Track app, and a geofence around each site flags equipment leaving it. Share your machinery list with the CCTV enquiry to get one combined quote.
