Quick answer
Facial recognition access and attendance uses face-recognition devices at entry points to log staff without contact, feeding the same attendance reports as fingerprint machines. BearTech supplies Mantra face-recognition units from ₹12,390 including GST, installs them through its own teams in Bhopal and Indore, and sends devices to other Madhya Pradesh districts.

Fingerprint scanners work well but require physical contact, which some workplaces (factories with dirty/wet hands, post-pandemic-conscious offices) prefer to avoid. Facial recognition cameras at an entry point do the same job — identify a person and log their entry — without anyone touching a device.
BearTech deploys facial-recognition-capable cameras alongside its biometric attendance range, so an office or factory can choose contactless face-based check-in instead of, or alongside, fingerprint devices — the attendance and access data flows into the same reporting used for fingerprint-based systems.
This suits workplaces that want a hygienic, faster entry experience — especially high-traffic entry points where a queue at a single fingerprint scanner would be a bottleneck.
Deciding where face devices should go
Start by listing every entry point staff use and how many people pass at shift start. Busy gates where a queue forms at a single fingerprint machine are the strongest case for face recognition, since there is nothing to touch. Smaller doors with light traffic may stay on fingerprint devices, which cost less: Mantra fingerprint machines are ₹5,310 to ₹8,850, while face-recognition units are ₹12,390 to ₹28,910, all including GST. Mixing both across different doors is common. Mark each point on a floor plan with its expected traffic and share it with BearTech before ordering.
Enrolling staff and going live
Once devices are installed, each employee's face is enrolled against their employee code. Do this in batches by department, so work is not disturbed. Run the new system alongside the old register for a week or two, and compare the two records daily to catch enrolment mistakes or employees who are not being recognised properly. Set up shift timings before the first payroll month so the reports match your policy. When both records agree for a full week, retire the register. BearTech's team guides the enrolment and setup at installation and can help with questions later.
What is included with each machine
Each Mantra device comes with a 1-year device warranty. Installation is ₹590 per machine, carried out by BearTech's own team in Bhopal and Indore. For other districts in Madhya Pradesh, the device is dispatched from Bhopal and installed by a tie-up technician. Delivery takes about 3 working days after the order is confirmed. Attendance logs feed into the same kind of reports used for fingerprint attendance. Any direct link to a specific payroll software is a separate requirement and is discussed during the order, so mention the software you use when you ask for a quote.
