Perimeter Intrusion Detection

Quick answer

Perimeter intrusion detection combines boundary-facing CCTV with a wireless alarm, so someone crossing a fence or gate sets off a siren and an alert on the owner's app while cameras record. BearTech plans both after a site visit; the AJAX Hub control panel costs ₹18,591.90 including GST, and alarm installation is quoted separately.

Most break-ins and thefts on a large property start at the boundary, not the front door — a factory fence, a farmhouse compound wall, or a construction site perimeter. Perimeter security combines boundary-facing CCTV cameras with a wireless intrusion alarm system so an unauthorised entry triggers both a recorded video and an audible/remote alert, rather than being noticed only the next morning.

BearTech pairs its CCTV camera systems (positioned along the boundary during the site survey) with AJAX wireless security alarm components — motion sensors, door/window contacts and sirens — so the two systems reinforce each other: the alarm flags the intrusion in real time, the camera records what actually happened.

It's suited to factories, warehouses, farmhouses and any property with a meaningful boundary to secure, especially where the interior is already covered by other means and the vulnerable point is the perimeter.

Walking the boundary during the site visit

Perimeter planning starts with a walk along the full boundary with the owner or site manager. The team notes gates, low wall sections, corners that are dark at night, spots where trees or sheds give cover, and the distance from each point back to the recorder and the alarm hub. Each weak point is then assigned either a camera, an alarm detector, or both. Power availability along the wall is checked, since far corners may need solar cameras. The result is a marked-up sketch that becomes the basis of the quotation, so you can see why each device is placed where it is.

Who receives the alert and who responds

BearTech does not monitor alarms or cameras for customers. Alerts from the AJAX or Dahua alarm go to the owner's own AJAX or DMSS app, and the customer supplies the SIM or data connection the hub uses. Before installation, decide who should receive alerts: the owner, a manager, a night guard, or several people. Also decide what each person does when an alert arrives, such as checking the camera view on the phone, calling the guard, or calling the police. A written response plan, kept near the guard post, makes the system useful at two in the morning.

Budgeting for cameras and alarm together

A perimeter project has two price parts. On the camera side, BearTech's complete 4-camera CCTV setup starts from ₹16,469 and the 8-camera setup is ₹29,600, both with GST included, with larger boundaries quoted after the survey. On the alarm side, the Dahua wireless starter kit, with hub, door detector, PIR detector and key fob, is ₹19,912.50, and the AJAX Hub control panel is ₹18,591.90, both including GST. Alarm installation is not published; it is quoted after the site visit or a technical phone discussion. AMC is available for both systems.
